In Turkey there are so-called Military Exclusion Zones military exclusion zones. In these areas, foreigners are generally not allowed to buy real estate. This particularly affects areas close to military facilities, border zones, and strategically important installations.
The Turkish Cadastral Office automatically checks for a restricted zone during the purchase process. Nevertheless, we recommend a prior, independent check by a local lawyer – before any payments are made.

Not automatically – but purchasing property is an officially recognised reason to Short-term residence permit to apply for a residence permit. This is issued for 1–2 years and can be extended indefinitely.
You will need: a valid passport, Tapu as proof of ownership, a biometric passport photo, recognised health insurance, and a completed application form via the official Turkish E-İkamet system.
